There's something about the Hunter light on a wedding day — the long vineyard driveways, the late-afternoon gold over the rows — that a classic Kombi was made for. Krusin' Kombis chauffeurs beautifully restored vintage VW Kombis to weddings right across the Hunter Valley, from the Pokolbin wineries to the estates of Lovedale and out to Broke.
We're a Newcastle-based, Hunter-local team, so we know the roads, the venues and where the best photos happen. You arrive together, on time and relaxed. We handle the driving, the ribbons and the little touches, so the day feels calm and the pictures last.
Most Kombis seat seven or eight, which means splitting the party across cars and hoping everyone arrives at once. Ours doesn't. Our super-stretch is Australia's original stretch Kombi and it seats up to 10 — the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the whole crew, riding in together for the moment that matters.
Prefer something more intimate for just the two of you? Our mouse-grey split-screen — a lovingly restored 1960s classic — seats up to seven and photographs like a dream. Many couples book both: the stretch for the party, the split-screen for the newlyweds.
